Prescriptions
Repeat prescriptions must be requested in writing. It is better to use the printed list attached to your last prescription to ensure accuracy. This can either be sent by post, left in the prescription box in the surgery or faxed to Colton Mill: 0113 2951798 or The Grange: 0113 2951799
Your prescription will be ready within 2 working days of your request. If you think you will run out of medication in this time, please inform a member of the reception staff.
We regularly review repeat prescription medication and you should expect to attend surgery periodically if the doctor feels that this is necessary.
We do not routinely accept telephone requests for repeat prescriptions as this can lead to errors in the medication.
Local chemists may provide a home delivery of medication to the truly housebound patients. Please contact your local chemist for further help.
